Laser Engraving / Etching:
Engraving is the process of engrave,
etching, or marking an object. The most
familiar type of engraving is rotary engraving
whereby a rotary head is simply plunged
into the object and material is removed
to leave a marking or pattern.
Laser engraving is a high precision process
that utilizes a laser to etch materials
such as wood, glass, acrylic and metals.
The process has capabilities that are
very close to those of a standard laser
printer.
The Advantages of Laser Engraving:
- The laser uses a beam of light as the engraving
tool, so no part of the machinery actually touches
the material being engraved.
- Laser engraving produces a permanent, crisp, highly
detailed mark, engraving images at up to 1200
dots per inch. (See samples below)
- The engraving quality is unmatched
for reproducing graphics such as corporate
logos.
- Lasers provide an extremely fast way to customize
your products.
